His journey in the roofing industry began at just 23 years old, where he laid tile by hand and quickly developed the unmatched work ethic and technical expertise that would shape his career.
From those early days on the roof, Cliff's passion, dedication, and eye for quality led him to grow into a respected leader in commercial roofing. Over the decades, he built one of the most referred and renowned commercial roofing companies in California—a company recognized not only for its craftsmanship, but for its integrity and reliability.

Vice President – Nathaniel Dillon
Nathaniel Dillon, Vice President of Pride Roofing & Waterproofing, Inc., brings a strong foundation in project management and leadership to the company. A graduate of Northern Arizona University, Nathaniel began his career with Lennar Homes, where he managed large-scale residential projects and gained firsthand experience in construction operations, scheduling, and client coordination.
It was under the mentorship of Clifford Ortiz that Nathaniel’s passion for roofing truly began. Through years of working closely with Cliff, he not only learned the technical aspects of the trade, but also the values of integrity, responsiveness, and client-focused service that have defined Pride Roofing & Waterproofing, Inc. for more than four decades.
